Grand Teton National Park is home to magnificent mountain scenery, sparkling mountain lakes and wildlife. The snowy Teton Mountains stand majestically, and we will stay at the best photo spots, so you can savor the beauty of the Teton Mountains and Jackson Lake.
Located in the northwest corner of Wyoming in the Midwestern United States, extending northwest into Idaho and Montana. It is an astounding 8,956 square kilometers and is the world's first national park. Yellowstone Park is one of the largest active volcanoes in the world.
Upon arrival in Salt Lake City, your professional guide will meet you at Salt Lake City International Airport or your selected Salt Lake City hotel. Today's program will be arranged according to your arrival time, weather, and winter road conditions.

Option A: Arrivals after 12:00 PM or when winter road conditions are unfavorable:
You will be transferred directly to the hotel in West Yellowstone or suitable en-route lodging for rest and overnight stay. This arrangement allows more time for safe winter driving before the Yellowstone snow coach experience on Day 2.
Option B: Arrivals before 12:00 PM or tours starting from Salt Lake City at 9:00–9:30 AM:

During the Salt Lake City half-day tour, you will visit several of the city’s notable landmarks.

Modeled after the US Capitol Building in Washington DC, the Utah State Capitol Building is both stunning and beautiful. This building serves as the seat of government for the state of Utah.
The Great Salt Lake is a large body of saltwater often compared with the Dead Sea. On a still day, the sky reflects off of the lake, offering a stark contrast with the desert mountains of Utah.

If time and weather allow, you may choose to visit a natural lava-tube volcanic hot spring at additional cost. Availability depends on routing, traffic, winter conditions, and your preference.
In the evening, continue to West Yellowstone or nearby en-route lodging for overnight rest.

After breakfast, your guide will escort you to the Yellowstone winter entrance for a full-day snow coach exploration. Travel comfortably aboard a heated snow coach, operated by professional winter guides who are familiar with Yellowstone’s seasonal routes, viewpoints, wildlife corridors, and safety requirements.
Yellowstone is especially magical in winter, when steaming geysers rise through the cold air, snow blankets the forests and meadows, and wildlife can often be seen moving through the park’s quiet winter landscapes.

A pre-arranged boxed lunch is included to allow more time for sightseeing inside the park.
Each boxed lunch typically includes a sandwich, with a choice of ham, turkey, or vegetarian, along with cheese, fresh fruit, chips, a cookie, and bottled water.

When conditions permit, you may enjoy a light snowshoeing experience around the Old Faithful area.
West Yellowstone is a small town immediately west of Yellowstone National Park. After returning to West Yellowstone, you may enjoy dinner at your own expense and explore the town’s local shops.
Finally, we’ll drop you off at your hotel, giving you time to rest and prepare before the next day’s journey.

After hotel pickup, today’s program will be customized based on your preferences, weather, road conditions, and the final return schedule to Salt Lake City.
Option 1: Lava Hot Springs
This is the recommended winter relaxation option when routing and weather conditions are suitable.
Travel to Lava Hot Springs, a well-known geothermal resort area famous for its natural mineral pools. You can relax in warm, mineral-rich waters, generally ranging from approximately 102°F to 112°F. The experience offers a soothing way to unwind after your Yellowstone winter adventure.
Lunch may be arranged near the Lava Hot Springs resort area at your own expense.
If this option is selected, the natural hot spring admission fee is included unless otherwise stated in the final quotation.
Option 2: Alternative Winter Experiences
If you prefer not to visit Lava Hot Springs, or if weather and road conditions require a different route, your guide may arrange alternative winter experiences.

In the late afternoon or evening, return to Salt Lake City. Drop-off will be arranged at Salt Lake City International Airport or your selected Salt Lake City hotel.

Beginning January 1st, 2026, Non-US Citizens will be required to purchase either The "America the Beautiful" annual park pass ($250,covers 4 people) or pay $100 per person(age 16 and older), per park, to enter Acadia, Bryce Canyon, Everglades, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Rocky Mountain, Sequoia & Kings Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Zion National Parks.
Cancellation received 60 days or more before the departure of the first product or service in the relevant booking: The Lifetime Deposit will be held by the Tour Operator in accordance with these Terms. The remainder of the payments made to the Tour Operator for the cancelled product will be refunded.
Cancellation received 59-30 days before the departure of the first product or service in the relevant booking: The Lifetime Deposit will be held by the Tour Operator in accordance with these Terms. An amount equal to 50% of the remaining payments made to the Tour Operator for the canceled Tour will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before the departure of the first product or service in the relevant booking: The Lifetime Deposit will be held by the Tour Operator in accordance with these Terms, and no further refund will be provided.

Yes. This itinerary is designed for travelers who want to experience Yellowstone in winter without self-driving in snowy conditions. You travel with a professional guide and enter Yellowstone by heated snow coach.
What kind of clothing should I wear?
You should dress in warm winter layers, including a winter jacket, gloves, hat, thermal clothing, and waterproof boots. Temperatures can be very cold, especially inside Yellowstone.
Is this tour good for photography?
Yes. Winter Yellowstone, Old Faithful, snow-covered landscapes, wildlife areas, and the Great Salt Lake Antelope Island area can offer excellent photography opportunities, depending on weather and visibility.
