Travel from the streets of Bogotá to the depths of the Amazon, then on to Medellín and the Caribbean coast of Cartagena over eleven days. Explore colonial plazas and world-class museums in the capital, spend three nights in the jungle spotting pink dolphins and visiting indigenous communities along the river, ride the MetroCable above Medellín, and end among the walled streets of Cartagena and the white sands of the Rosario Islands. You travel with local guides, stay in handpicked hotels, and connect each region by included domestic flights.
Today we will pick you up from your airport in Bogotá. You will be then have a private transfer to your accommodations where you can relax and get ready for the tour.

Today we will take you on a history and culture tour of Bogotá. We will start by visiting Monserrate, a mountain known for the church that is featured on top, allowing beautiful aerial views of the area. We will also get to tour La Candelaria, known for its colorful architecture and culture. After checking out other famous plazas and a couple of museums you will have time to explore the market at Santander Park, being able to look for souvenirs and handmade items.

After breakfast, take a domestic flight to Leticia, entering the Amazon. You will then be welcomed by our local, have lunch, and then transfer to your hotel. Later walk across the open border into Tabatinga, stopping at a Comara viewpoint to see the Amazon River. Return to Leticia to watch the sunset and search for the parrots at Santandre Park.

After breakfast, we will sail to the Marasha Natural Reserve, where there will be a guided walk where you can explore unique flora and fauna like the Ceiba tree, giant water lilies, capybara, monkeys, and more. You will also be able to fish in the area, canoe, and kayak. After a lunch buffet, we will transfer you to an eco lodge with dinner to end the day.
In the morning we will boat you down the Amazon river, exploring the flora and fauna along the way. We will then stop by the Macedonia community, where you will see traditional carving of palosangre, translating to English as bloodwood, with the name originating from the deep red color the wood comes from. You will also have the option to participate in a traditional dance with the locals.
After, we will continue onto Puerto Nariño, where we will have lunch and explore the area. After, we will visit the Natutama Foundation, and learn about their mission in protecting pink dolphins. You may be able to see them throughout your ride on the river. We will then return to the Biohotel for dinner and ending the day.
After breakfast, we will fly to Medellín. This city is known for its street art, urban planning, and spring-like climate all year. A local team will meet you when you arrive and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day you will have time to explore the area or just to relax and adjust in your hotel.
Today we will take you on a city tour exploring downtown's history, the art at Plaza Botero, the local neighborhoods, and beautiful aerial views. The tour takes up a good portion of the day, but you may have some time afterward to explore on your own or relax.
Today we will fly out to Cartagena de Indias, a colorful port city, Surrounded by a UNESCO-listed stone wall that once protected the city from pirate and naval attacks. Once we get you transferred and settle into your hotel, you will have time to explore the area for the rest of the day.
Cartagena brings a unique Caribbean energy, known for being a melting pot of cultures and ideas. We will start the day with a visit to San Felipe Castle, the fortress built by the Spanish to fend off pirate attacks. Next we will head to the Historic Center, to learn about how colonial trade occurred. There will be other spots that we will explore, getting samples of juice or coffee, while also exploring the flora and fauna in the parks nearby.
Today we will transfer to the Rosario Islands. Here will be the most relaxing leg of our journey, as this more remote island provides white sands, and clear waters to relax. There will be options to dive or snorkel as well.
