Schedule Details

Day 1: Chongqing / Embarkation

Arrive in Chongqing and transfer to the cruise terminal for embarkation.

Complimentary Transfer Services:
Guests arriving at Chongqing Airport or railway stations between 09:00 and 15:00 will be provided with scheduled transfer service to  Raffles City Chongqing.
Guests arriving between 15:00 and 20:00 will transfer directly to Chongqing Port for embarkation. Please note that airport transfer service closes one hour earlier than the stated arrival cut-off time.

Recommended arrival schedule: please book trains and flights arriving before 14:00.

Important Note: If the cruise is unable to dock at Chongqing Port due to weather, water levels, navigation restrictions, or other force majeure circumstances, guests will be asked to meet at a designated meeting point in the city between 14:30 and 17:00. Arrival before 16:00 is recommended. The final transfer coach departs at 17:00. The alternative embarkation port is expected to be Fuling No. 5 Pier (涪陵五码头), but is subject to final confirmation based on river and operational conditions. Guests who miss the final coach must arrange their own transportation to the confirmed embarkation port for boarding.

Embarkation is scheduled between 16:00 and 20:00. After boarding, settle into your stateroom and attend the Cruise Safety Briefing. In the evening, enjoy a welcome buffet dinner while the ship begins its journey along the Yangtze River.

Day 2: Fuling / Zhong County

In the morning, choose one of the following shore excursions:

  • Option A: Baiheliang Underwater Museum & Fuling Pickled Memory Hall 
    Visit a unique underwater archaeological museum preserving ancient inscriptions carved into river rock that recorded Yangtze River water levels for centuries. Then learn about Fuling’s century-old pickled vegetable heritage.
  • Option B: 816 Underground Nuclear Project
    Explore one of the world’s largest underground military construction projects, built during the 1960s deep within a mountain.

Important Note: If docking conditions require adjustment due to weather or navigation restrictions, the excursion may be replaced with a visit to Fengdu Ghost City.

Return to the ship for lunch and enjoy onboard cultural activities.

Before dinner, attend the Captain’s Welcome Reception.

In the evening, enjoy the large-scale live performance “War Fire of the Three Kingdoms.” If canceled, it will be replaced by a small-boat excursion to Wushan Goddess Stream the following afternoon.

Day 3: Fengjie / Three Gorges Scenic Cruising

This morning, choose one of the following shore excursions:

  • Option A: White Emperor City
    Explore this historic riverside town known as the “Gateway to the Three Gorges,” long associated with Chinese poetry and classical history.
  • Option B: Three Gorges Summit
    Ascend to a panoramic observation point overlooking the dramatic landscape of Qutang Gorge and surrounding mountains.

In the afternoon, the cruise sails through Qutang Gorge, the shortest yet most dramatic of the Three Gorges, followed by Wu Gorge, famous for its elegant peaks and mist-covered mountains.

The vessel continues through the western section of Xiling Gorge, offering magnificent views of the Yangtze River’s rugged canyon scenery.

In the evening, enjoy a lively Crew Cabaret Show onboard.

Day 4: Yichang / Disembarkation

In the morning, the cruise sails toward the Three Gorges Dam area. The vessel will pass through the Three Gorges Ship Elevator, one of the world’s largest and most advanced ship elevator systems, offering a remarkable engineering experience as the ship is vertically lifted across the dam.

After passing through the ship elevator, the cruise continues through Xiling Gorge and the Gezhou Dam Ship Lock, before arriving at the Three Gorges Tourist Center in Yichang, where the cruise concludes.

Important Note:

  1. Today’s itinerary does not include any onshore visits inside the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area (such as Tanziling Park or the River Closure Memorial Park). However, during the boat journey from Maoping Port through the ship elevator toward the eastern section of Xiling Gorge, guests will still enjoy a full panoramic view of the Three Gorges Damfrom the ship’s deck.
  2. If the Three Gorges Ship Elevator is unavailable due to weather or other operational conditions, the itinerary will be adjusted to include a visit to the Three Gorges Dam and a scenic cruise through Xiling Gorge, followed by arrival at the Three Gorges Tourist Center in Yichang.

Complimentary transfer service to Yichang Airport or railway stations will be arranged after disembarkation at the Three Gorges Tourist Center at approximately 14:00.

Important Note: Please schedule onward trains after 16:00 and flights after 17:30 to allow sufficient time for disembarkation and transfers.

For groups of more than 30 people, a dedicated coach can be arranged for immediate pickup and departure. Presidential Suite guests receive direct private transfers. Reserve at least 7 days before boarding.
  5. Arranged Shore Excursion: The ARRANGED shore excursions are included in your quotation, so you could visit the sites without extra charge. However, if you do not visit the sites, the fees of arranged shore excursion sites are not refunded. If you do not visit the shore excursions, you could stay on the ship to enjoy some leisure time. And for your safety, you are not allowed to leave your ship on your own.
  6. Physical Demands: There are several stairs to climb up at White Emperor City, Three Gorges Summit. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended to visit these sites.

Due to water levels, weather, navigation conditions, or local operational requirements, the embarkation pier may be adjusted. Please follow the latest boarding notice and allow enough time for transfers.

An amount equal to 50% of the remaining payments made to the Tour Operator for the cancelled Tour will be refunded.

Cancellation less than 47 days before the departure of the first product or service in the relevant booking: The Lifetime Deposit will be held by the Tour Operator in accordance with these Terms, and no further refund will be provided.
