Today's itinerary does not include any onshore visits inside the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area, such as Tanziling Park or the River Closure Memorial Park. However, during the boat journey from Maoping Port through the ship elevator toward the eastern section of Xiling Gorge,  guests will still enjoy panoramic views of the Three Gorges Dam from the ship’s deck.

Today's sightseeing program is complimentary and subject to operational conditions. If the Three Gorges Ship Elevator is unavailable due to weather or other operational reasons, an alternative sightseeing program will be arranged based on local conditions. If the complimentary program cannot be provided, no refund will apply.

On selected 2026 departures operating through early December, the sightseeing vessel will also pass through the Gezhou Dam Ship Lock.

Temporary Itinerary Adjustment: The Three Gorges Ship Elevator will undergo scheduled maintenance from 08:00 on August 18, 2026, for approximately 42 days

On affected departures, you will visit the Three Gorges Dam Closure Memorial Park instead, followed by a cruise through the eastern section of Xiling Gorge and passage through the Gezhou Dam Ship Lock.

Complimentary Transfer Service from/to Airport/Train Stations: The airport/train station transfer service operates on fixed departure times

For guests in standard cabins, the waiting time will not exceed 30 minutes (arranged reasonably according to their arrival time), and guests may use the Yangtze Cruise Lounge while waiting. For groups of more than 30 people, a dedicated coach can be arranged for immediate pickup and departure. Presidential Suite guests receive direct private transfers. Reserve at least 7 days before boarding.

However, if you do not visit the sites, the fees of arranged shore excursion sites are not refunded. If you do not visit the shore excursions, you could stay on the ship to enjoy some leisure time. And for your safety, you are not allowed to leave your ship on your own.
