Visit Patan Durbar Square, known for its temple architecture, carved details and long tradition of craftsmanship. Explore the historic square and its surrounding courtyards, where daily life continues alongside the city's cultural landmarks.

Continue to Swayambhunath, the hilltop Buddhist site often called the Monkey Temple. From its terraces, take in views across the Kathmandu Valley. This visit involves steps, so the access route should be discussed in advance if you have mobility concerns.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bharatpur, followed by a road transfer to your resort in the Chitwan area. After settling in, meet your nature guide for an introduction to the local program.

The planned afternoon includes a village walk and time to enjoy the sunset, followed by dinner and a cultural performance.

Rise early for a jeep safari in Chitwan National Park. With your nature guide, look for wildlife among the forest and grasslands while learning about the landscapes that make this part of Nepal so different from the Kathmandu Valley.

After lunch at the resort, take a canoe ride and join your guide for a nature walk, offering a closer look at the area's river and forest habitats. Wild animals follow their own rhythms in nature, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Head to the Rapti River area for an early birdwatching outing, then return for breakfast before continuing to Pokhara by private vehicle.

The journey passes through changing countryside on the way to Nepal's best-known lakeside city. Allow approximately five hours on the road, although traffic and road conditions can extend the drive. On arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Spend the morning discovering Pokhara's natural landmarks and places of worship. Visit Devi's Fall and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, then continue to Seti Gorge and Bindhyabasini Temple for a closer look at the city's river scenery and religious traditions.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy around Lakeside. Take a stroll, settle into a cafe or return to your hotel to relax. Cave and temple visits involve steps, so please discuss any access concerns with us before booking.

Optional Phewa Lake Boat Trip

Take in Pokhara's lakeside setting from the water, with mountain views when conditions are clear. If you would like to add a boat trip on Phewa Lake, contact us for available options and a current quote. This experience is not included in the tour price and is subject to availability and weather.

Leave before dawn and travel by private vehicle to Sarangkot, a popular viewpoint above Pokhara. In clear weather, the morning light reveals the ridges and peaks of the Annapurna range.

Return to your hotel for breakfast. The afternoon is free, giving you time to rest or enjoy Pokhara's lakeside setting at your own pace. Mountain views depend on cloud cover and visibility.

After breakfast, transfer to Pokhara Airport for your flight to Kathmandu. Continue by road to Bhaktapur, where brick streets, carved windows and temple squares reflect the Kathmandu Valley's Newari heritage.

Explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square and landmarks including the Palace of 55 Windows and Nyatapola Temple. The planned visit also takes in Dattatreya Square, the museum and Pottery Square before continuing to Dhulikhel for the night. If the weather is clear, enjoy the evening light across the surrounding hills and Himalayan skyline.

Rise early for the chance to see the mountains in the morning light, then enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Explore Dhulikhel before continuing to Panauti, a historic Newari town known for its traditional streets and temple architecture.

Visit the area around Indreshwar Mahadev Temple and take in the town's setting before returning to Kathmandu. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner to round off your journey.

2. At least two people are required to schedule a tour. If you are traveling alone, please consult our customer service department and they will assist you in joining another group. We strongly recommend booking early, as availability is limited.

3. Age Requirements: Travelers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult who is responsible for their supervision and well-being throughout the journey. All travelers should be able to participate safely and comfortably in the planned itinerary.

4. Physical demands: No multi-day trek is included. Sightseeing still involves walking, uneven paving and steps. Cave visits, jungle walks and getting into a canoe can be more demanding. Please discuss any mobility or assistance needs before booking.

5. Weather and views: Mountain panoramas, sunrise and sunset views depend on weather and visibility. Wild animals are often elusive, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The cancellation date is the date Nomad receives your notice.

60 days or more before departure: 80% refund (20% cancellation fee).

35 to 59 days before departure: 50% refund (50% cancellation fee).

34 days or fewer before departure: No refund.
