Trishuli River Day Rafting is a day trip you can do in Nepal. It is also one of the most popular river trips in Nepal. The river Trishuli has something to offer everyone, from the most experienced kayaker to the first-time rafter. It’s an ideal year-round river (even during monsoon). It is just a stone's throw away from Kathmandu offering a pool drop style of a big volume river. A rafting trip on the Trishuli will quench the white water desire of travelers with limited time in Nepal. The river meanders its way through scenic gorges and impressive valleys on its way to the plains.
This trip leaves plenty of time to chill out, play rafting games, do some cliff jumps, swim, and soak up the surreal atmosphere of Nepal’s river life. The rafting conveniently ends at the riverside camp and we will continue our journey to Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara.
Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will be driving from Pokhara to Ulleri which is around two hours driving. If the weather is clear, you should have good views of the distinctive Machapuchhare. The road passes some beautiful cultivated farmland and through forests.
The scenery will give you the inner power to climb up these steps and immerse you in walking more. After a few hours of walking with several breaks, we will reach Ghorepani. We can enjoy the fantastic views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range from here.
We will take an early morning start on this day. We will hike up for 40-60 minutes to reach Poon hill (3,210m/10,528ft). The route offers a glimpse of the pleasant rhododendron forest. This brilliant viewpoint will provide us with an unobstructed sunrise over the high Himalayas and the wide range of panoramic scenery from the far western Himalayas of Dolpo, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchre (Fish Tail) and to Manasalu. After having a great time, we will return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue the trek to Tadapani. Overnight at Tadapani
We will have a short and pleasant walk to Ghandruk. We will walk through the forested and downhill path most of the way with an occasional view of the magical mountains that lead through the gradual path most of the way to Ghandrung village. The village is a heavily settled Gurung village. We will explore the surrounding area and will drive to Pokhara by jeep and overnight at Pokhara.
Early in the morning, we will drive to the top hill, Sarangkot, the place that offers you a complete view of the whole city of Pokhara mountains and the peaks surrounding it. The trip offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. If you wake up early enough to drive to the place a very early morning, you will also be able to see the amazing view of the sunrise. After the Sarangkot Visit, we will return to the city for further tours toward Chitwan on our way to Bandipur.
Bandipur is a charming Newari town located on a hilltop in the Tanahun district. It is very well known for its well-preserved traditional architecture, temples, and stunning views of the Himalayas.
Chitwan National Park Wildlife Tour is a tour to explore the nature and wildlife of Nepal. Chitwan National Park is also one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is one of the most popular destinations for Eco-tourists and wildlife enthusiasts. The word Chitwan stands for "Jungle of Tigers." Chitwan is also home to the endangered species of the Royal Bengal tiger.
The Subtropical forest of Chitwan National Park offers a reliable habitat for a variety of wildlife & flora. Royal Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhino, Asiatic Elephant, Marsh Crocodile, Wild Boar, Sloth bear, and several species of deer including Spotted, Barking, Samber, and Hog inhabit this region. With more than 350 species of birds found in the region, Chitwan has also established itself as a haven for bird-watching enthusiasts.
The ethnic tribe of "Tharu" populating the region has a culture and tradition of its own which is offering an authentic Native-cultural experience for outsiders. You can also choose to settle on the bank of the Rapti River, which offers boating, relaxation, and sightseeing experiences as well. We will have dinner in the evening with a cultural program and overnight at the Hotel.
After having breakfast we will again perform a few Chitwan-based activities and will drive to Kathmandu.
After having breakfast we will move for visiting heritage sites inside the Kathmandu Valley that includes Bhaktapur, Patan, Pashupatinath, Bouddha Swyambhunath.
You can go for any last-minute shopping for souvenirs or gifts for your family, friends, or relatives. If you plan to stay further, you can also start any extra trips or activities. You will be transferred to the International Airport if you are flying back.
