Your Western Caribbean adventure begins on Florida's Space Coast. If you're arriving early, the area offers plenty to explore: Kennedy Space Center for rocket launches and astronaut history, Orlando's world-famous theme parks just an hour west, or an airboat ride through the wetlands to spot alligators. Board Norwegian Prima in the afternoon and settle in as the ship heads south toward the Bahamas.
Welcome to Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian's 268-acre private island in the Bahamas. Newly transformed for 2026, the island features the Great Life Lagoon, a 1.4-acre heated pool with two swim-up bars, beach-style entry, and shaded cabanas. Coming summer 2026, the new Great Tides Waterpark adds 19 slides, an 800-foot dynamic river, and Cliffside Cove's 10- and 15-foot cliff jumps. Families will love Splash Harbor's interactive fountains, while adults can upgrade to Vibe Shore Club for a private cabana and bar. Prefer a quieter day? Snorkel the underwater sculpture garden, relax in a hammock at Hammock Bay, or book a private villa at Silver Cove with its own beach, buffet, and spa. A new multi-ship pier means you walk ashore instead of tendering.
Spend the day exploring Norwegian Prima. Race three levels of go-karts at Prima Speedway, the first three-level race track at sea. Take a dip in the infinity pools on Ocean Boulevard, walk the open-air promenade, or claim a lounger by the pool. Try a specialty restaurant for dinner: Italian classics at Palomar, modern American at Hudson's, or fresh seafood at Onda by Scarpetta. Cap the night with a Broadway-style production in the Prima Theater.
Your Jamaica port of call depends on your sailing date. All three sit on the island's north coast within an hour or two of each other and share similar excursion options:
Whichever port you visit, you can swim at white-sand beaches, climb waterfalls, raft down the Martha Brae, or explore Jamaica's 18th-century plantation history.
Grand Cayman is famous for its crystal-clear water, world-class snorkeling, and the iconic Stingray City sandbar, where you can wade waist-deep in the ocean and interact with friendly Southern stingrays. Seven Mile Beach, often ranked among the Caribbean's best, runs the length of the island's western coast and offers calm turquoise water and soft white sand. History fans can visit Pedro St. James, Cayman's oldest stone building, or tour the National Museum in George Town. Ships typically tender to shore in George Town, so factor in a short boat ride from the ship.
Cozumel is Mexico's largest Caribbean island and one of the world's top diving destinations, famously championed by Jacques Cousteau. Spend the day snorkeling at Palancar Reef, lounging at Paradise Beach or Mr. Sancho's beach club, or exploring the island by Jeep or scooter. History fans can visit the San Gervasio Maya ruins or take the ferry to Playa del Carmen for a quick taste of mainland Mexico. The port sits right downtown for easy shopping, dining, and tequila tastings.
Your final day at sea is yours to enjoy. Settle in for a long lunch, book a treatment at Mandara Spa, or try the specialty restaurant you've been eyeing. The Prima Speedway, ropes course, and infinity pools are open for one more lap. Pack up in the evening and enjoy a farewell dinner before tomorrow's arrival back in Florida.
The Norwegian Prima returns to Port Canaveral early morning. If you have time before flying home, Florida's Space Coast is worth exploring: Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, and Orlando's theme parks are all within easy reach.
