In the morning, your tour guide will come to pick you up from your hotel, and you'll depart for Arizona. Depending on your preferred level of activity, you can choose to hike the Toadstools, a unique rock formation, and/or visit Horseshoe Bend, an incredible vista overlooking the Colorado River.
Next, we'll travel to Meteor Crater, passing through Flagstaff, Arizona along the way. Meteor Crater is a 550-feet-deep, 1-mile-wide hole that was created from the impact of a meteorite more than 50,000 years ago. Standing at the rim of the crater, you'll gain a sense of the scale of this impact and its lasting effects on the local landscape.
Following the visit to Meteor Crater, we'll continue our journey to Sedona, once again passing through Flagstaff, Arizona. Nestled amidst towering red cliffs, Sedona offers the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the sunset. We'll begin by exploring the local landscape and hiking some of the beautiful trails outside of Sedona. Later, we'll return to Sedona and admire the exquisite architecture that the town boasts, such as the Chapel of the Holy Cross, which is built right into the surrounding rock. As the sun sets, we'll have dinner at one of the incredible eateries in town, reflecting on what a perfect day it has been.
Finally, we'll drive back to Flagstaff to drop you off at your hotel, allowing you to unwind before the next day's adventure.
