Schedule Details

Day 1: Salt Lake City - Mystic Hot Springs - Toquerville Falls - Hurricane

Your adventure will commence around 9 AM when your tour guide collects you either from the Salt Lake City Airport or from a hotel of your choice. If you prefer to initiate your tour from a location other than Salt Lake City, kindly inform us, and we will make the necessary arrangements.

The first stop on your grand Southern Utah adventure is Salt Lake City. Established in 1847 by a group of pioneers, Salt Lake City has flourished into the vibrant capital of Utah and a gateway to the West. Your tour guide will accompany you to explore the twin hearts of this city: Temple Square and the Capitol Building.

Following our visit to Salt Lake City, we will travel south along I-15, passing through Fishlake National Forest until we reach Mystic Hot Springs. These hot springs provide the perfect setting to relax and reflect. The mineral-rich waters not only contribute to healthy skin but also assist in relieving stress from the body.

Next, our journey will take us further south to the town of Toquerville for dinner, followed by a hike leading us to the vicinity of Toquerville Falls.

Finally, we will proceed to the city of Hurricane to drop you off at your chosen hotel, allowing you to unwind before embarking on the adventures of the following day.

Day 2: Hurricane - Zion - Bryce Canyon - Orderville - Kanab

In the morning, your tour guide will come to pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Zion National Park, which is only 30 minutes away. This park will undoubtedly take your breath away as you drive through gorgeous wind-sculpted canyons and hike along incredible trails. It offers something for everyone: for those who prefer to stay in the car, you will love the intricate patterns found on Checkerboard Mesa and Weeping Rock. If you're interested in a bit of hiking, you will enjoy the stunning views from the Canyon Overlook Trail and the Riverside Walk. And for experienced hikers, the thrill of trekking along the Narrows and Angel’s Landing awaits.

Following our exploration of Zion National Park, we will set off for Bryce Canyon National Park. With its stunning pink and white cliffs and thousands of hoodoos, Bryce Canyon is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression. The park boasts numerous accessible viewpoints that offer excellent opportunities for photography. For the more adventurous, your tour guide will lead you down into the canyon along the Navajo-Queen’s Garden Trail, passing by incredible rock formations that have taken thousands of years to shape.

After departing from Bryce Canyon National Park, we will have dinner in one of the surrounding towns.

Finally, we will head to Kanab. Situated in the southwest corner of Utah, Kanab boasts both a breathtaking landscape and a rich history. Thanks to its spectacular red sandstone cliffs and unique flora, Kanab has served as the backdrop for numerous famous Hollywood shows and movies, including the Lone Ranger, Planet of the Apes, and Arabian Nights. While in Kanab, you'll have the opportunity to explore the captivating Pink Coral Sand Dunes and the impressive Moqui Sand Caves.

Afterwards, we will drop you off at your hotel, allowing you to relax and unwind before the adventures of the following day.

Next, we'll travel to Meteor Crater, passing through Flagstaff, Arizona along the way. Meteor Crater is a 550-feet-deep, 1-mile-wide hole that was created from the impact of a meteorite more than 50,000 years ago. Standing at the rim of the crater, you'll gain a sense of the scale of this impact and its lasting effects on the local landscape.

Following the visit to Meteor Crater, we'll continue our journey to Sedona, once again passing through Flagstaff, Arizona. Nestled amidst towering red cliffs, Sedona offers the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the sunset. We'll begin by exploring the local landscape and hiking some of the beautiful trails outside of Sedona. Later, we'll return to Sedona and admire the exquisite architecture that the town boasts, such as the Chapel of the Holy Cross, which is built right into the surrounding rock. As the sun sets, we'll have dinner at one of the incredible eateries in town, reflecting on what a perfect day it has been.

Finally, we'll drive back to Flagstaff to drop you off at your hotel, allowing you to unwind before the next day's adventure.

F.A.Q

4 Things need to pay attentation before you join the tour.
  1. Bring enough drinking water. Typically, drinking water and food can be purchased at the visitor centers of each park, but there are usually no stores along the hiking trails or roads, so bringing enough drinking water supply is very important. Although Zion and Bryce National Parks are at high elevations, it can still be warm in the summer, while the canyons and arches in the National Parks can be very hot during the summer days, reaching temperatures as high as 38 degrees Celsius. It's also a good idea to bring some simple food or snacks that can provide quick energy or sugar to prevent symptoms such as low blood sugar, heat stroke, or fatigue.
  2. Wear comfortable shoes. The itinerary involves hiking, so it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes or specialized hiking shoes because the sandstone surfaces here can be very slippery. Being prepared is the key to having a more enjoyable trip.
  3. Be prepared for all kinds of weather. The various national parks in Utah have their own unique climates and weather, which means that the weather here is very difficult to predict. Prepare clothing that can be put on or taken off as needed, or bring raincoats or other waterproof and windproof outerwear, which can be found in professional outdoor stores.
  4. Pay attention to sun protection. It is very important to prepare sunscreen because sunburn can not only cause skin damage but also make tourists suffer from heat stroke or dehydration, and even threaten their lives. It's best to wear a hat or choose routes that have less exposure to the sun when necessary.
