Temple Square is often regarded as the heart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), also known as the Mormons. In the late 1840s, when LDS pioneers first reached Utah, they resolved to construct a temple that would serve as the focal point of their religious community. Over time, the church expanded from this central location across Utah, the United States, and eventually the world. To this day, Temple Square remains the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, housing other historically significant structures such as the Tabernacle, the Beehive House, and the Conference Center. As you explore these buildings' exquisite architecture, you will also learn about the history of these early pioneers.
Inspired by the design of the US Capitol Building in Washington DC, the Utah State Capitol Building is a breathtaking masterpiece of architecture. Serving as the hub of government for Utah, the Capitol Building contains chambers for the Utah State Legislature, the Utah Supreme Court, and the office of the Utah Governor. Beyond its governmental role, the Capitol Building boasts remarkable artwork that depicts the state's history.
The Governor's Mansion serves as the official residence for the Governor of Utah and their family. Crafted using the finest materials and workmanship available, this elegant home exudes a quality and style reminiscent of Eastern mansions.
The Great Salt Lake, situated in the northwestern part of Utah, stands as the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere. Its arid environment resembles that of the renowned Dead Sea.
Antelope Island State Park (Great Salt Lake) offers the opportunity to hike the Buffalo Point Trail, granting a panoramic view of the Great Salt Lake and the expansive countryside. Alternatively, you can explore the historic Fielding Garr Ranch or swim at Bridger Bay Beach, a sprawling sandy shoreline – the ideal spot for a refreshing swim in the Great Salt Lake.
The Hill Aerospace Museum provides an engaging glimpse into the history of military aviation in the United States. With a collection spanning over 100 planes, from the World War I Curtiss JN-4D to the "stealth fighter" Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk, the museum caters to a diverse audience. Alongside military aircraft, visitors can explore exhibits featuring the World War II American Indian Code Talkers and the Wright Flier.

1. Don’t Stray Off the Boardwalks
2. Don’t Stand Near or Try to Touch Wildlife
3. Don’t Jump in Hot Springs
The best tourist season for the park is from June to September. The majority of Yellowstone Park is located above an altitude of 1800 meters (without altitude sickness), and the climate is unstable. It can rain or snow in any month of the year, so visitors should bring rain gear and warm clothing regardless of when they come.
June/July/August: The daytime temperature is around 25°C, and it cools down at night, with some high-altitude areas dropping below 0°C. Most roads and facilities are open. Weather forecast: check here.
May and September/October: The daytime temperature ranges from 0°C to 20°C, and the night temperature ranges from -5°C to -20°C. Snow is common, and some roads may be temporarily closed while some facilities are still open.
Winter (November to April): The daytime temperature ranges from -20°C to -5°C, and the night temperature is below 0°C. The historical lowest temperature record is -54°C. Only the north gate of the park is open.
