DAY 1: Salt Lake City – State Park Great Salt Lake – Salt Lake City

Depending on arrival time, your tour guide will pick you up either from the Salt Lake City Airport or from a hotel of your choosing. If you’d like to start your tour from an area other than Salt Lake City, please let us know and we’ll make arrangements.

You should arrive at Salt Lake City Airport before 12:00 PM, where your tour guide pick you up. You will then be taken to the Great Salt Lake and the Salt Flats (approximately a 4-6hr tour), followed by a tour of Salt Lake City, seeing various sites in Salt Lake City, including but not limited to Temple Square, the Utah State Capitol, and the Beehive House. After this day of touring and enjoying all the sights and architecture offered in Salt Lake City, you will get to have dinner and relax at your premium hotel located right in Salt Lake City.

  • Salt Lake City Airport (SLC) Pick-up information:
    It is requested that guests on domestic flights in the United States arrive at the airport before 12:00 PM, and guests on international flights before 11:00 AM.

If you arrive at Salt Lake City Airport after 12:00 PM, you will be taken directly to the Salt Lake City Hotel, but if it is too late to visit the attractions, the fees for the day off will not be refunded.

The Great Salt Lake is the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere. Located in the northwestern part of Utah, the dry natural environment of the Great Salt Lake is quite similar to the famous Dead Sea. The Salt Flats are the dried-up part of the Great Salt Lake, covering an area of around 300,000 acres. The thickest part of the salt crust is nearly 13 cm tall, forming a flat and vast white ground. Every year, tourists from all over the world will come to Salt Lake City to explore this extraordinary and shocking landscape with their own eyes.

DAY 2: Salt Lake City – American West Heritage Center - Bear Lake State Park - Jackson Hole - Grand Teton National Park

Early in the morning, your tour guide will come pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the American West Heritage Center. Here, you will discover what life in the West was like in the 1800s, joining costumed role-players in enjoying hands-on learning as you visit the mountain men encampments, pioneer cabins, and even a turn-of-the-century farm. You will then proceed to Logan, exploring great dining and world-class performing arts like the Utah Festival Opera. (30 min Free time), after which you will get the opportunity to drive upon Logan Canyon National Scenic Byway boasts 43 miles of uncrowded scenery with dramatic limestone cliffs, wildflowers, and the Logan River on your way to Jackson, Wyoming. Whether you decide to hike the trails or stop at Beaver Creek Lodge for horseback or all-terrain vehicle rides along the way, everything will be on the way to Bear Lake State Park, a must-go for lunch and afternoon water activities. Bear Lake is a deep natural lake that changes color with the sky, and right on its southwest shore is the town of Garden City, most definable by its legendary raspberry shakes and ice cream, within driving distance from Bear Lake no less! Guests will then have the choice to stay overnight at Bear Lake, or to continue north and stay overnight in either Jackson, Teton Valley, or something as eclectic as even a ranch on a wildlife Sanctuary if they so desire.

Jackson Hole: A small town with lots to see and do during any season, Jackson is the southern gateway to Grand Teton National Park. With its beautiful mountain vistas. some say Grand Teton National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in the world. Guests will have the chance to photograph the iconic barns of Mormon Row, canoe Jenny Lake, follow in the footsteps of Ansel Adams at the Snake River Overlook, hike, climb, and breathe the pure mountain air all throughout. This park truly is a treasure.

Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Located in the glacier mountainous area of ​​northwestern Wyoming, USA, Grand Teton National Park was built in 1929 and covers an area of ​​310,000 acres. DAY 3: Grand Teton National Park - Yellowstone National Park and West Yellowstone

Early in the morning, you will enter the characteristic western town of Jackson Hole, from where you will travel to Grand Teton National Park along the Snake River Valley. Stretch your legs with the Great Teton mountains that tower over the Great Dayton Park still covered with the snow and ice and feel the vast expanse and historical significance below your two feet!

Guests will have the opportunity take a cruise on Jackson Lake, exploring the beautiful scenery all around. This cruise will literally place you in the shadow of Mount Moran, all the while you will be absorbing the local history, geology, and folklore. As you take in the sights, the 10,000-year old glacial water flowing into Jackson Lake perhaps being the most prominent one, our knowledgeable guides will continue to brief you with the basics of the history and geology of the area, as well as introduce the specific flora and fauna scattered all around the lake.

Explore the mysterious and quiet forests, glance upon the romantic and charming Yellowstone Lake, the slim fishing bridge, the majestic and the beautiful Yellowstone Grand Canyon, the upper waterfall, the colorful misty Norris, close-up view of wildlifes, and more! To simplify, we will explore the wonderful 13 Yellowstone Park Famous attractions in just two days’ time!

** Tip: Yellowstone National Park is a volcanic area. This means there is significant geothermal phenomenon is around the bridge, a quick disclaimer. The average estimated time to walk to each scenic spot is 30 minutes, and it is recommended that guests wear a comfortable outfit and a good pair of hiking shoes with these conditions in mind.

Next, we will travel to West Yellowstone. The town of West Yellowstone, located just outside the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, is a year-round, family-friendly destination. Nestled among majestic mountain peaks, and surrounded by natural scenic wonders, the town is rich in history and activities. After arriving, you’ll be able to eat dinner and explore the town’s many gift shops, all relating to the activities done earlier in the day. After, we’ll drop you off back at your hotel, giving you time to rest and prepare before the next day’s journey.

DAY 4: Continue Visit of Yellowstone National Park

Your vacation in Yellowstone National Park will continue in the morning. You must keep in mind though: It tends to rain very suddenly in Yellowstone, and as you will be spending the entire day exploring Yellowstone and enjoying the vivid scenery, you would not want that ruined by something as silly as not having an umbrella! This is not entirely a bad thing, however, as it is the rain that shapes the legendary national park, revealing its most natural colors.

In this day, we will be visiting five of thirteen scenic spots in Yellowstone National Park. These will include Yellowstone Lake, the Fishing Bridge, the The Crater, the world famous Old Faithful, the mammoth hot springs, Yellowstone waterfall, and the magnificent Grand Canyon all as options, and based on your preferences, five will be selected accordingly based on circumstance and what is available at the time.

After touring these destinations, the group will head over and experience the Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo: During a rodeo, cowboys and cowgirls put their skills to the test against legendary bulls, bucking broncs, crafty calves and hefty steers. These same cowboys and cowgirls compete in events such as bareback bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, steer roping, saddle bronc riding, calf roping and barrel racing, to name but a few. The rodeo even has all the popular events including Bareback Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding. This is a night of fun, where adults and kids alike get the chance to compete and show each other what they are made of, all the while being surrounded in an all-around enjoyable experience by the rodeo of cowboys and cowgirls. It’s a great time, to be sure.

If it just so happens that your itinerary date does not work with the schedule of the Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo, your tour will instead take you to Yellowstone Grizzly & Wolf Wildlife Park in the morning the next day. The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center is an AZA-accredited Not-for-Profit, wildlife park, and educational facility offering Yellowstone visitors a chance to experience the world of grizzly bears and gray wolves firsthand. Visitors will gain knowledge about grizzlies and wolves through programs, and it is a great, educational experience. Your tour guide will naturally take you here, allowing you to watch these fascinating animals interact in their outdoor habitats. This is certainly a way to guarantee seeing bears and wolves in Yellowstone, without the risk associated with running into them in the wild by accident. This is a great place with various activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Once more, we’ll drop you off at your hotel, giving you time to rest and prepare before the next day’s journey.

DAY 5: Leave Yellowstone National park, visit Idaho Falls and through Scenic Elk Protected area to World Famous Natural Hot Spring Resort then return to Salt Lake City (SLC)

Early in the morning, your tour guide will come pick you up from your hotel, and you will leave Yellowstone. You will drive to Idaho Falls, visiting the longest artificial waterfall in the United States, and head to the nearby Elk Protected area afterward.

There will be a break for lunch, after which you will stop at various scenic viewpoints within the Elk Protected area. After taking in wildlife in its most pure state, your tour guide will then proceed to drive you the Natural Hot Spring Resort on the way back to Salt Lake City.

(Notes: If you don’t want to soak in the natural hot spring, your tour guide will take you to Hill Aerospace Museum and Bird Refuge to discover wildlife. This refuge offers some of the most phenomenal waterbird watching in the western U.S)

Natural Hot SpringRelax at the world famous natural hot springs! Geothermal Hot Springs temperature range from 102 degrees to 112 degrees Fahrenheit. If you enjoy spas, then the Granite Spa is definitely a great choice for you. The hot spring water flows down the rocks and finally gathers into a hot spring pool. The hot spring pool is a perfect place for the whole family to relax. The children can play in the pool while the parents relax in the hot springs, all the while surrounded by the beautiful mountain scenery surrounding them. After not only seeing, but also experiencing the breath-taking views, your group will travel back to Salt Lake City to be dropped off at the airport. You will head back head full of spectacular images and amazing experiences, leaving you yearning to come back for more.
